Jumbo Jet is back!

Nine years after the band with the dumb name outacted THE FLAMING LIPS at Haldern Pop Festival and suddenly vanished o the face of the earth.

And yet the Greek/Italian/Hungarian/German quartet was counted the most unusual and furious band operating from Germany since EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN.

„We often heard: you are 10 years ahead of your time. So one day we said: let' s take 9 years off then.“ bassist Zar Monta Cola admits.

The stertorous indie scene of the 1970's - 1990's may be past remedy. But the fact that rockbands like ... draw large crowds shows: dangerous rockmusic and a changing wind stay in demand.
A good moment for the return of the European version of FUGAZI, as they used to be called for their energy and the uncompromising continuation of DIY.
e blend of Dadaism and burning passion as well as the combination of complex, postclassical compositions with simple hardcorepunk will still easily polarise.
Inspite of being successful mostly in Europe's metropolises, especially in Scandinavia, England and France, they always took visiting smaller places that wouldn't be found on usual touring routes seriously as well as helping establishing new venues.
Looks like this helped. Any other project they had been involved in in between, for example WARM GRAVES or SEA + AIR, was fairly successful all over Europe.
Is there still underground media left and will they still be enthusiastic?
However, the band has not matured at all. All members over 30 by now but still no secure jobs. Fortunately!
