Seven young people are experiencing radical life changes in few days. Petr is breaking up with her longterm girlfriend Hanka. Ondřej neurotical doctor is chasing Hanka for a long time. His wife Lenka can' t believe that Ondřej would ever betrayed the neat family. And there is barmaid Vesna, who came from Macedonia to Prague searching for her father, cynical manipulator Robert and Jakub who loves weed the most. All are lost and they are trying to find themselves. And on the other hand there are Hanka' s parents who are the exact example of staid family and group of japan tourists who came to watch them as example of traditional czech family.
But what they have all in common is, they are uniques in the crowd and dealing with their live as much as they can.

This winter come every Monday for our film club.
Each film shown has been carefully selected to introduce you to the art of ‘kino’ from Czech.
These are films you simply MUST SEE if you are to get onto the underground soul of this mentality.
We have movies which are true cult classics in every sense. This may also help you to improve your Czech since every film is in the original format but with English subtitles.
There is no fee to enter, though seating is limited to first come basis. Doors from 20.00. With a short film first from around 20.40, then an explanation regarding the importance of each film before we show the main feature. There will be an intermission half way through the main film & we are sure to finish the viewing by last trams.
