dovolujeme se Vás pozvat na vernisáž výstavy:
Colours of Ostrava Plein Air!
Malíři Juraj Florek a Juraj Toman se dlouhodobě věnují plenérové malbě současného městského prostředí. Náměty obrazů se jim stávají zákoutí současného města, která přetvořením skrze médium olejomalby získávají nový svěží úhel pohledu. Mají v oblibě zejména nemalebné náměty nefunkčních industriálních staveb, bizarní zákoutí našich měst a v poslední době také špatnou architekturu.
Rádi aplikují plenérovou malbu na nová prostředí. S nadšením tak přijali výzvu The Chemistry Gallery zachytit festival Colours of Ostrava 2016, a to jak v přípravné fázi, tak i během jeho trvání. Na většině vzniklých obrazů je vidět bizarní kombinace majestátního industriálu oblasti Dolních Vítkovic, dočasné barevně rozmanité "festivalové architektury" a návštěvníků festivalu.
Týdenní časový limit na vznik celé kolekce 21 obrazů přinutil autory vystoupit z "komfortní zóny" a konfrontovat se s okolní realitou. Zároveň se podepsal pod svěžest malířského rukopisu, který je přirozenou kvalitou dobrého plenérového obrazu. Každý obraz z výsledné kolekce byl fyzicky přítomen v zobrazené lokalitě a samotná výstava je koncentrátem navštívených lokalit, který podává zprávu o týdenní trajektorii obou autorů v areálu festivalu.

We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition:
Colors of Ostrava Plein Air!
The painters Juraj Florek and Juraj Toman have long been painting contemporary urban environment. The themes of the paintings become the corners of cities, which, through the transformation through the medium of oil painting, acquire a new fresh point of view. They are particularly fond of the non-functional motifs of dysfunctional industrial buildings, the bizarre corners of our cities and, in recent times, also the poor architecture.
They love to apply the painting to new environments. With enthusiasm, they accepted the challenge of The Chemistry Gallery to capture Colors of Ostrava 2016, both in the preparatory phase and during its duration. On most of the paintings you can see the bizarre combination of the majestic industry of Dolní Vítkovice, the temporary colorful "festival architecture" and festival visitors.
The weekly time limit for the creation of the entire collection of 21 paintings forced the creators to step out of the "comfort zone" and confront themselves with the surrounding reality. At the same time it has signed under the freshness of the painting manuscript, which is the natural quality of a good plein image. Each painting from the final collection was physically present in the displayed site, and the exhibition itself is a collection of visited sites, which reports on the weekly trajectory of both artists in the festival area.
