Když se legendární The Pretty Things dali dohromady, psal se rok 1965. V té době byli jednoznačně nejdivočejší kapelou a také jejich dlouhé vlasy patřily k nejdelším na celé hudební scéně! O tom, že nebyli žádní svatoušci, svědčí i to, že byli vyhoštěni z Austrálie a nesměli se tam vrátit dalších 45 let!
Jejich nejslavnějším albem bylo S.F.Sorrow z roku 1968, kapela ale nelení ani v posledním letech, v roce 2015 vydali prozatím svůj poslední počin The Sweet Pretty Things (Are In Bed Now Of Course).
Po skvělém vystoupení na Metronome Festival Prague se v září vrátí do Prahy, tentokrát s klubovým setem k nám do Rock Café!
Jako host se představí německá kapela Ramrods.

When The Pretty Things started out in 1965 they were the wildest, roughest and most longhaired band in Europe. Their shows caused riots but their songs like “Rosalyn” “Don´t bring me down” or “Honey I need” went up the charts. They were even kicked out of Australia because of vandalism – and banned for 45 years!
Probably the best known album is called S.F.Sorrow and has been released in 1968. Their last CD has been released two years ago - The Sweet Pretty Things (Are In Bed Now Of Course)..
If you saw their festival set at Metronome Festival Prague this year, you will definitely come to Rock Café on 19th September to see them again!
