Přednáška německé myslitelky Juliane Rebentisch

Hope Recycling Station z.s. srdečně zve na přednášku a diskuzi s významnou německou teoretičkou a myslitelkou Juliane Rebentisch.

Teorie umění jsou dnes neodlučitelnou součástí umění. Ale většina pokusů tyto teorie přiblížit ztroskotavá na nesrozumitelnosti. Německá teoretička a filosofka Juliane Rebentisch je jednou z mála, kdo nejen dovede srozumitelně priblížit základní teorie, ale dovede do panujicí nepřehlednosti prorazit cesty, po kterých je možno se součastnému umění přibližovat.

Juliane Rebentisch je profesorkou filozofie a estetiky na Univerzitě umění a designu v Offenbachu nad Mohanem, kde je také víceprezidentkou. Je členkou kolegia na Institutu pro sociální výzkum ve Frankfurtu nad Mohanem a prezidentkou Německé společnosti pro estetiku. Její hlavní pole výzkumu jsou estetika, etika a politická filozofie. Mezi její stěžejní publikace patří Estetika instalace (Ästhetik der Installation, Suhrkamp 2003), Aesthetics of Installation Art (Sternberg 2012); Tvorba a deprese. Svoboda v současném kapitalismu (Kreation und Depression. Freiheit im gegenwärtigen Kapitalismus, spoluautor Ch. Menke, Kadmos 2010); Umění svobody. O dialektice demokratické existence (Die Kunst der Freiheit. Zur Dialektik demokratischer Existenz, Suhrkamp 2012, The Art of Freedom. On the Dialectics of Democratic Existence (Polity 2016); Úvod do teorie současného umění (Theorien der Gegenwartskunst zur Einführung, Junius 2013).

Přednáška a diskuze proběhne v němčině se simultánním překladem do češtiny.

Hope Recycling Station cordially invites to a lecture of renown German art historian and thinker Juliane Rebentisch.

Juliane Rebentisch is Professor of Philosophy and Aesthetics at the University of Arts and Design in Offenbach/Main, where she also currently serves as vice president. In addition, she is a member of the Research Counsil of the Institute for Social Research (Frankfurt/Main) and acting president of the German Society of Aesthetics (2015-2018). Her main research areas are aesthetics, ethics, and political philosophy. Publications include: Ästhetik der Installation (Suhrkamp 2003)/Aesthetics of Installation Art (Sternberg 2012); Kreation und Depression. Freiheit im gegenwärtigen Kapitalismus (co-ed. with Ch. Menke, Kadmos 2010); Die Kunst der Freiheit. Zur Dialektik demokratischer Existenz (Suhrkamp 2012/The Art of Freedom. On the Dialectics of Democratic Existence (Polity 2016); Theorien der Gegenwartskunst zur Einführung (Junius 2013).

Lecture and discussion will be held in German with simultaneous Czech translation.
