Balearic Assassins of Love is a collective of vinyl junkies from across the UK who are returning to Prague this summer. Their DJ sets encapsulate the spirit of acid house, the emotional joy of pop, the laid-back loose feel of Ibiza and create that eclectic, highly danceable, couldn’t care less, ‘last day of the holiday’ feel every time. BAOL are DJs King Sunny Ade P, Steve KIW and Picko-d who, along with essential vibe controller, Mark D are equally at home playing achingly beautiful sunset sessions to hands-in-the-air raves. BAOL straddle genres like a well-heeled colossus dressed in a smiley T-shirt and Day-Glo poncho. For BAOL no sound is out of bounds. A BAOL party was once described as “a cross between the opening party at Amnesia and the last days of Sodom and Gomorrah”. This summer BAOL have already played festivals in the UK, hosted their own beachside parties in Ibiza, Brighton and Hastings (UK) and Sete (France) and played at parties across the UK. They also host their own radio shows on www.1brightonfm.co.uk and www.reformradio.co.uk This is BAOL’s third trip (as a collective) to Prague. Last summer they played at A(void) Café on the banks of the Vltava River for the second time. On the same trip they played an all-nighter for BeatsPM as guests of the Good Vibes Crew and at the Letni Letna festival. This summer, they return to Prague to play at Bukanyr with Ultrafino on Saturday, August 20th For this special 'from dusk till dawn' party BAOL join Prague residents Mr Ultrafino and DJ Chochacz. The BAOL boys will be on the Sunset Terrace between 5pm and 10pm and then moving inside and pushing the tempo from 10pm through to 8am the following morning! One for the headstrong!
