Tickets to Nové Město Biathlon World Cup fast disappearing

Nové Město na Moravě started the ticket sales to the 3rd Round of the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup to be held from 16. - 18. December 2016. After 3 days of sales the tickets are fast disappearing and it looks likely that all stadium tickets are going to be sold out by the end of the week.

The program structure of the Nové Město World Cup promises exciting racing. The entire block will start on Friday with Sprint events, dramatic Pursuit events will follow on Saturday and Sunday closes the World Cup menu with with Mass start events for the current top 30 World’s biathletes. The exact time schedule will be announced in September.

Nové Město last hosted the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup in February 2015 when the sold out Vysočina Arena amazed the biathlon world with the total of over 120 000 spectators over the three competition days . "Looking at the current ticket sales and the biathlon frenzy in the Czech Republic, it looks as though we are ahead of another super exciting World Cup," say the LOC President Jiří Hamza.

Last fall Nové Město built snow storage which contains about 40 000 m3 as of today, sufficient amount to guarantee quality racing next December.
