Planned route : Vyšší Brod - Český Krumlov - Zlatá Koruna Once again we are organizing a canoeing trip on the Vltava river. We are leaving on Friday August 12th at 7am (meeting @ hlavní nadraži). We are going to visit many interesting places during our trip on the canoes. We are going to stay overnight in the camping sites which are closed to the water. The first day we will go about 17km to Zatoń where we will camp. The 2nd day another 13km to Český Krumlov (we will take some time here to walk around the city. Český Krumlov is considered one of the nicest towns in Czech republic. Castle, historical centre, graphite mines are definitely worth visiting) The third day we can go to Zlatá Koruna (17km) or to Dívčí Kámen (there will be many interesting places while canoieng, so we can stop anywhere) Recommended equipment : Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, clothes for canoeing, shoes for canoeing.We recommend the old shoes or sandals which can get wet. NO FLIP FLOPS!! It can be easily lost in the water! Hat, sun screen, sun glasses. If you want to cook fo yourselves in the camping site , take some little cooker. If want to just relax and don’t care about anything, there will be possibility to eat in the camp Prices Canoe (2 people) - CZK 150 kayak (1 person) - CZK 250 - incl. helmet & spraydeck Baraka (inflatable canoe) - CZK 175 (season) The prices include: boat (canoe or raft), paddles, life jackets, waterproof bags. What is not included : Transport to Zátoň and from Zlaté Koruny, food, drinks, life insurance, fee in the camping sites (average 100kč/person per night)
